RRRA Launches New Visual Identity and Website
July 23rd, 2014 – This month the Rideau River Residence Association (RRRA) went through a massive redesign of its visual identity in order to better engage and interact with students. The redesign included an entire overhaul of its website (www.rrra.ca) and all social media infrastructure.
“The new RRRA website and visual identity has allowed us to launch new products and services”, said Will Verschuren, President of RRRA. “We’ve taken old offerings like the Parliament Hill Program and put the application form online making it easier for students to apply, and we are now offering students and their parents separate newsletters to keep them engaged in the Carleton community.”
RRRA’s newsletters will facilitate updates on student life at Carleton and internship opportunities to both students and parents. Already over 250 students and 75 parents are subscribed to the newsletter.
“It was very important to us that we launch these new services now before the school year since so many students moving into residence have questions and concerns”, said Graham Pedregosa, Vice President Administration. “We want to make sure we are giving students relevant updates and keep them connected.”
Earlier this summer RRRA held a BBQ in Toronto for incoming students.
