Consent Culture Week Speaker (in collaboration with Womyn’s Centre) @ Fenn Lounge
Wednesday, October 12th, 2016
Linda Christina Redgrave is a Toronto resident that waived her right to anonymity under a publication ban after the Ghomeshi sexual assault case. Linda Christina was the first complainant in the court case that took place in early 2016. She has waived her right to the publication ban because she wishes to use her name and experience to help other sexual assault complainants.
Linda Christina will be speaking about her experiences with the legal system and its inadequacies in handling complaints of sexual violence.
Other speakers will include Yamikani Msosa from the Sexual Assault Support Centre and Carrolyn Johnston from Carleton Equity Services.
