INSPIRA Youth Leadership Conference will take place at Carleton University from March 23—24, 2012.
It will bring together 150 delegates from around Canada to take part in a weekend of activities, discussion and events centred around three key values: heritage, leadership, and development. The goal of the conference is to give all participating delegates the opportunity to network, hone their leadership skills, and put their minds together to brainstorm practical solutions to social problems in Latin America and at home.
Youth leadership has been recognized by both the private and public sectors as a fundamental component to ensure the growth and sustainability of any organization or institution. For long-term success, organizations must be able to establish a base of young leaders able to meet the hard-hitting challenges of tomorrow.
INSPIRA Youth Leadership Conference aims to produce such young leaders in the local community. It cultivates youth leadership in aspiring individuals while encouraging multicultural preservation and enhancement of the Latin culture in North America, as well as recognizing the need for sustainable development in the Latin America and the Caribbean region.
**All profits from the INSPIRA Youth Leadership Conference will be donated to the Latin American Women’s Support Organization (LAZO) whose goal is to facilitate the integration of immigrant women, particularly those of Latin American origin, to Canadian society.**

CEO and DEO,
RRRA
It’s that time of year! TUNNEL MURALS!
The RRRA executives have been given the green light to start the process of approving tunnel murals!
As a floor, make sure that the general consensus is that there is widespread approval for the mural design and then forward your chosen design to RRRA’s Vice President Administration, Omar Bainto. Omar will then forward your design to Equity Services for consideration at which point it will be approved or rejected.
If it is rejected, this likely means that your design needs to be altered because there is some form of offensive material in your design. You will have the chance to resubmit your design for approval. Once approved, the executive, along with Housing, will find a suitable location for your mural.
If you have any questions about tunnel murals, please direct them to Omar Bainto, RRRA Vice President Administration at vp@rrra.ca
Happy designing! We look forward to seeing all of your floor’s designs!
